Welcome!
Aurore Maureaud, PhD
SUMMARY
I am a marine ecologist passionate about marine species and our relationship with the oceans. I believe we need to combine our understanding of life in marine ecosystems with social sciences to manage and conserve oceans fairly. Cooperation is a strong way to reconcile our relationship with nature and others. In my work, I am designing international and interdisciplinary projects to find common ways forward. BACKGROUND
I studied fisheries management and I completed my PhD at the Centre for Ocean Life, DTU Aqua, at the Technical University of Denmark. I was a postdoc at the Center for Biodiversity & Global Change at Yale University and I am now a postdoc in the Pinsky lab at Rutgers University. I am a member of the Knowledge Coordination Body (KCB) of Eklipse, a European science-policy platform on biodiversity and ecosystem services. |
